Update: Application refused by BFC.
An application ( ref (21/00781/RTD) has been submitted to install a phone mast at the junction of Fincham End Drive and Dukes Ride. The mast would be 17m high , towering over the adjacent homes and dominating the street scene in the area. We understand the need for new masts to support 5G but they are supposed to share existing masts where possible and if that’s not possible, site any new mast discretely . CVAG have submitted a strong objection, which can be viewed here, and hope that the application will be refused.
