Guide to objecting
CVAG tries to update members and supporters on significant and key planning applications (PA). One can’t object to a PA until it is registered but Crowthorne Village Design Statement has led to more developers seeing the benefits of talking to CVAG before submitting an application. This means earlier consultation with residents, as already happens with authority planning officers. CVAG therefore welcomes prior information from developers.
How to object, as a Crowthorne resident
Access information on the application from the relevant district council (WBC or BFC) website or visit the office.
Ask to speak to the planning officer.
Consult your neighbours to see if they share your concerns. The more voices – the more you’ll be heard.
Let CVAG know. We can inform other residents.
Discuss with your local parish councillor as the parish council makes recommendations that the district council planning committee take into account when making decisions.
Make your objections relevant to planners’ criteria.
