The Local Government Boundary Commission is conducting a review of ward boundaries for election of representatives to Bracknell Forest Council.

The recommendation from the Bracknell Forest Council working group is that Addiscombe Road, Pinehill Road and adjoining streets  will be transferred to become part of Wildmore and Owlsmoor ward. That makes no sense to us at CVAG . These residents are very much part of the Crowthorne community and should be represented by Crowthorne Councillors at BFC.  We will be strongly opposing the BFC plan in our own response to the boundary commission . Crowthorne Parish Council is also opposed to that move and are putting forward an alternative suggestion, which we support.

The BFC proposal is scheduled to be discussed at a special council meeting on 11 March, 7.30 in the council chamber at Times Square. Details here.
